Saylor Time...

I just spent an incredible weekend away from the city in Dallas, TX. I went to visit Amanda and her new baby girl, Saylor. It was great to see Amanda doing so well, see her parents and get to meet her amazing baby. Saylor is 3 months old and is really showing her personality. I think my favorite thing is the sound she has learned to make with her mouth. She is a happy and healthy baby and BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

Our Two Year Anniversary

Yesterday was our two year anniversary. My amazing husband surprised me with a wonderful day on Sunday of apple picking in the Hudson Valley. I love the fall more than any other season and to experience fall foliage in this region is absolutely amazing. I have seen beautiful leaves before, but nothing like this. It truly was the most beautiful day I have ever had. Unfortunately, the trees were seen from the car so I have no pictures to prove what I am saying. We did take a picture or two at the apple orchard, which was beautiful as well. It's crazy that an hour and a half outside of New York City we were in the country picking our own apples.

On the actual day of our anniversary we went to dinner. Bob surprised me (again) with a trip to Brooklyn to have dinner at the River Cafe. This gorgeous restaurant sits on the East River across from Manhattan so you sit at your table looking at the skyline of the lower half of Manhattan.

Facebook Smacebook...

So I decided that I don't really like Facebook. I get that many people do and that it is fun at first catching up with people and seeing where people ended up. After awhile you have probably found who you wanted to and then you start getting surprised by who finds you. There is probably a reason we lost touch in the first place and now I have created a blog so that the people I want to know about my life can know about my life.
The main reason for this blog is I live in New York City and our family and our best friends live in Atlanta, Nashville, Chicago and Boston and other cities across the country. I wanted an easy way to keep everyone updated on our life and our upcoming bundle of joy. So, enjoy the mania....
